About Voice Recorder
Record voice notes, interviews, or sound clips directly in your browser. This tool uses the native MediaRecorder API combined with Web Audio API to capture microphone inputs with a real-time waveform visualizer.
All processing occurs locally on your device, decoding raw audio and compiling standard 16-bit WAV files. Safely record audio without any files uploading to external servers.
How to Use Voice Recorder
- 1Select your preferred microphone input from the device list.
- 2Click 'Start Recording' and grant microphone permissions if requested.
- 3Watch the live waveform bars visualize your voice frequencies.
- 4Click 'Pause' to halt momentarily, or click 'Stop & Save' to store the recording in your session history.
- 5Preview, rename, or download your audio file as a WAV directly from the list.
